Daloa: The Espérance de Vie Association Donates 150 School Kits to Build Equal Opportunities, Thanks to Its Partnership with PETROCI.
Daloa, Côte d’Ivoire — A concrete initiative in support of education and solidarity took place this Saturday, October 11, in Daloa. The Espérance de Vie – Côte d’Ivoire Association organized a major distribution of school supplies benefiting 150 children from several neighborhoods across the municipality, as part of its strategic partnership with PETROCI.
A Strong Partnership with PETROCI Serving Education
This remarkable effort was made possible through the decisive support of Mrs. Fatoumata Sanogo, CEO of PETROCI Côte d’Ivoire. Through this partnership, PETROCI reaffirms its civic commitment and corporate social responsibility by supporting tangible actions aimed at human development, youth empowerment, and social equity.
Direct Support for Families Across 5 Neighborhoods in Daloa
Thanks to this donation, 150 students enrolled from Grade 1 (CP1) through Grade 12 (Terminale) and residing in the Kennedy 2, Abattoir, Liberia, Orly 1, and Orly 2 neighborhoods received comprehensive support to ensure a successful school year:
-
Textbooks and required reading material
-
Notebooks in various formats
-
Pens, pencil cases, and writing supplies
To ensure a smooth, fair distribution that directly addresses community needs, the kits were delivered through the presidents of the respective neighborhood committees, who took charge of distributing them to the beneficiary families.
Education as a Lever for Social Inclusion and Equal Opportunities
For the Espérance de Vie Association, ensuring access to essential learning materials is vital in combating poverty and preventing early school dropout. The goal of this joint initiative is to ease the financial burden on households at the start of the school year and to give every child, regardless of background, an equal chance to learn and succeed.
“Every child deserves to have the necessary resources to learn, thrive, and build their future. Together, let us make education a lasting lever for social inclusion and equal opportunity.”
The Espérance de Vie – Côte d’Ivoire Association extends its deepest gratitude to the leadership of PETROCI as well as to the community leaders whose mobilization made this day a success.
