The house of hope

In Ivory Coast, many girls aged 12 or over are in difficulty due to their precarious social situation. They are often called upon to become “street girls”. Sometimes, we find them in bars or on the streets monetizing their bodies. They often end up on the road to immigration via the desert.

CARE CANADA FOUNDATION MISSION IN DALOA

The “Espérance de Vie” (Hope for Life) Association and its partners are preparing to host a delegation from the Canadian “CARE” Foundation.

The CARE Foundation, a key partner and funder of our project, “Artistic Mediation for Women and Girls Detained at the Daloa Civil Prison,” will be in Daloa on September 19, 2025, for a project monitoring visit. This mission demonstrates CARE’s commitment to ensuring the impact and proper progress of its actions on the ground.

Summary of the mission of the delegation of the Municipality of Daloa to Turin.

The study visit to Turin by the Delegation of the Municipality of Daloa was intense, dense, and effective. Led by Mayor Stéphane Auguste Gbeuly, the delegation accompanied Professor Koné Issiaka, Vice-President responsible for programming and external relations at the Université Jean Lorougnon Guédé de Daloa, for the signing of a protocol with the Piedmontese University, represented by Professor Alessandra Fiorio Pla, Vice-Rector for international teaching at the University of Turin.
